This sauce is very quick and simple to make at home and tastes just as good as the local Chinese takeaway joint.
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Capsicum, diced
- 1 small can of pineapple pieces including juice
- 1/3 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 cup Vinegar
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- Fry onion and capsicum until tender in a saucepan.
- Add all remaining ingredients to the saucepan.
- Bring to the boil.
- Thicken with corn flour slurry if desired.
Serve on Pork, Chicken or Spring Rolls.
